A Limited Edition, and First in Series in the Presidential Porcelain Barbie Collection, the Crystal Rhapsody® Barbie® doll was the first doll available directly from Mattel.

Seller says she is in "Mint Condition", and was "only taken out of the box to be photographed". But that however, the "Box Shows Wear". So you will want to be sure and ask questions about that. Nevertheless, and in fact, the Best part about this Porcelain Crystal Rhapsody Barbie doll, is the price! For at only Fifty Dollars ($50), this doll is a Steal. I FOUND this Twilight Barbie Doll Collection for sale on craigslist. It includes Twilight characters Jacob, Alice, Bella and Edward. And, it is Very Reasonably priced at only $60 for all Four dolls. Something we don't often see as Barbie doll collectors. But which, is the very reason I am posting the news of this listing.

Seller does not mention condition, but judging by the pictures, plus the fact that the seller is "wanting them to go to a good home"; tells me that these Twilight Barbie dolls, have been Very Well cared for. But don't take my word for it. Contact the seller and ASK questions.

Ok Sure, this 1988 Holiday Barbie doll HAS been Removed for her box, Played With, and even the box is in bad shape. But for Only TEN DOLLARS ($10), you bet I'm going to tell you about it.

Typically selling for $300 and more, the 1988 Holiday Barbie is considered to be the First collectible Barbie doll. And not just collectible, but Highly sought after, and very Very RARE!

This would be a Great Starter purchase for a Beginning collector. Or even for an old Pro who would love own this doll until it could be replaced with one in Mint condition. (if you could ever afford it). Either way, for a measly TEN BUCKS, it would be Hard to go wrong by purchasing this 1988 Holiday Barbie doll.

Keep in mind I do Not know the seller so, "Buyer Beware", of course. But again, for only TEN DOLLARS, I just don't see how you could go wrong unless, the seller never delivers the doll. But to that end, if the seller wanted to cheat someone out of TEN BUCKS, then why not cheat them out of $100.00?

I don't know, maybe I've just become too cynical of people to even think such a thing. But on the other hand, I'm trying to build a Reputable Barbie blog here. So I Have to think about things like that. I mean if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But in this case, where the seller openly admits the doll has been played with; then I figure, it probably "is" a good deal.

As a Barbie doll collector, naturally I'm Always shopping the classifieds. And today I found a Barbie Magical Mansion Brand New In Box for sale on craigslist.

Seller does Not quote a price. But in that, I have been blogging about Barbie doll listings as well as Barbie Doll Houses for a Very Long time. I can tell you that this is the First a ONLY Barbie Magical Mansion "Never Removed From Box" that I have Ever found. Which makes this Barbie Magical Mansion, Extremely Rare, and a MUST HAVE for any Barbie collector.

The Mansion is located in Smithtown, New York. So, and as I Do Not know the seller. I'm not sure if Hurricane Sandy may have changed things for the seller, or not. Nevertheless, if you're in the market for one of these "Jewels", then I would definitely check this one out. (I would not however, give it to my kid for a play toy. This is Definitely a Collectors Item!)

I Found this Barbie Kelly Stacie Holiday Sisters Special Edition Gift Set for sale on craigslist. And believe that it "may" turn out to be a real collector's item (in rarity) as I have learned that many parents gave this "Special Edition" Holiday Sisters, to their children as Play Toys.

Why? Because this Barbie Kelly Stacie Holiday Sisters Special Edition Gift Set comes with a 3D paper Christmas tree, and accessories; that little girls just Love to assemble and decorate with all the little ornaments and little tiny gift boxes that comes with it. Hence, many of these gift sets have been Opened, and parts lost.

Not so however with this Barbie Kelly Stacie Holiday Sisters Gift Set. As the seller says, "never been opened", and that it, "comes from a smoke free home". 

Seller does Not mention box condition, however. I am trying to sell my moms vintage Barbie dolls from the early 60's through the early 80's. All the barbies are in mint condtion some still new in box some out of box. 1966 truly scrumptious with box and all accessories, 1960's twiggy with box and all accessories, 1966 francy sears swingin set all accesories, 1960's casey with box and all accessories, buffy and mrs beasly 6 and a half inch dolls with all accessories. Many christmas special edition dolls in box never opened.
