As a Barbie Collector, naturally I'm always checking the classifieds. And today I found a collection of Vintage Barbie dolls for sale on craigslist.
The seller says the her mother's Barbie doll collection has been "appraised at $3,000". But that her mother has run into hard times and will sell them for $2000 OBO. I'm guessing an offer of $1000 would be acceptable as times are tough all over. Unfortunately the seller didn't post any pictures, or even an itemized list. However, she did post her Phone#.

I am trying to sell my moms vintage Barbie dolls from the early 60's through the early 80's. All the barbies are in mint condtion some still new in box some out of box. 1966 truly scrumptious with box and all accessories, 1960's twiggy with box and all accessories, 1966 francy sears swingin set all accesories, 1960's casey with box and all accessories, buffy and mrs beasly 6 and a half inch dolls with all accessories. Many christmas special edition dolls in box never opened.
This collection has been appraised at $3,000 but my mom is going through some rough times. Only serious offers please. $2,000 obo.
